Build from source
Prepare your environment, build the Java project, and find your first example.
Prerequisites
Use JDK 25 to match the POM compiler target, together with Maven. The development repository is private and requires GitHub access. External services and native dependencies depend on the modules and example you choose.
Build the project
Build from nextrix-j with Maven. The commands below skip tests and serve as a source-build starting point. The Java build was not executed while creating this site. Check the selected modules and repository configuration if it fails.
git clone https://github.com/vovgou/nextrix-dev.git
cd nextrix-dev/nextrix-j
mvn install -DskipTests
cd nextrix-examples/nextrix-example-app/target
java -jar nextrix-example-app-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar \
--spring.profiles.active=devRun and continue
After a successful build, use the example-app README and application configuration to run Server. The README describes the target/libs dependency layout and dev profile startup. Continue with Actions, the client, and gateway examples.
