Spring Boot integration

Organize configuration and component lifecycle through Starters.

master · 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT / Reviewed 2026-10-29

Start with the modules you need

nextrix-springboot contains Starters for networking, gateways, discovery, caching, monitoring, and telemetry. Select dependencies for the functions you need and read their READMEs and example-app configuration. A module directory does not prove a stable published artifact exists.

Keep versions aligned

The current project is 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT; the root POM specifies Spring Boot 4.1.0 and JDK 25. Keep implementation and Starter versions aligned. On upgrades, review Maven coordinates, Java package names, and JPMS requires together.

Compose business capabilities explicitly

Auto-configuration does not replace business lifecycle design. For example, the cache Starter no longer creates a placement service; applications explicitly compose the source, cache, strategy, and renewal logic.
